ABSTRACT

An inversion of bidirectional reflection distribution function (BRDF) was tested using N-K model and NOAA AVHRR data. The test involved sensitivity analysis, optimum inversion selection, ground simulation experiment, calibration measurements with satellite, and computer image processing. Results of comparison with NDVI indicated that inversion of BRDF will have bright development prospects in next decades.
